Under the framework of the study which is prepared for the project “Establishment the Green Growth Action plan for Quang Ninh province”, NIRAS Vietnam experts coordinated with JICA organization and representatives of Department of Scientist and Investment of Quang Ninh province to survey the manufacturing models and interview the representatives of some Enterprises which has implemented the Energy Efficiency Audit to identify the feasible pilot projects. The Enterprise which has feasible projects will be supported in establishing the investment reports for the EE sub projects to receive the soft loan from JICA funds.

Through the selection criteria, the consultant group has implemented the interview from 25 to 26th May 2016 at 7 units which has the scope of works in Cement production, Ceramic, Tiles, Rare earth metal, including: Vinh Thang JSC, Hoang Ha color ceramic JSC, Vinh Tien JSC, Lam Thach 2 JSC, Thang Long cement JSC, Cotto Gieng day Brick factory, Integral Materials Investment Vietnam Co., Ltd

The objective of the interview is to: (1) Overall evaluating the current state of using energy and the production state of the company; (2) Identifying the energy efficiency measures which has been implemented by the company; (3) Identifying the potential EE solution which the company have investment plan; (4) Detect problems and barriers in implementing the expected Energy Efficiency projects; (5) Introduction about the ESCO model.
