RCEE-NIRAS is selected as Performance Management Partner for Project: “Promoting Investment Market for Energy Efficiency in Industrial Sector in Vietnam” by The Korea Institute for Development Strategy.

Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) and Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) have reached an agreement to cooperate on initiating a pilot energy efficiency project aiming at building investment attraction capacity for relevant working-level managers and officials in energy efficiency sector. The scope of this project is technical assistance and capacity building on ESCO business value chain which covering energy audit, feasibility study, financial planning, implementation supports and monitoring improvement. This project also supports Vietnamese ESCOs for pursuing actual energy efficiency investment of industries.

In this context, KDS recruit RCEE-NIRAS to undertake M&E activities including Baseline and End-line surveys of the participating ESCOs’ capacity on energy audit and financial planning for energy efficiency investment and Monitoring on the process of consulting provided by Korean specialists to the participating ESCOs in Vietnam. KDS expects to develop the most appropriate PDM and indicators to measure the precise outputs/outcomes and see the effects of the Project.

RCEE-NIRAS shall take the overall responsibility in designing and conducting base and end-line surveys of the participating ESCOs’ capacity on energy audit and financial planning for energy efficiency investment and implementing monitoring the process of consulting provided by Korean specialists to the participating ESCOs in Vietnam.
