The project “Establishment of an Energy Savings Scheme in the Steel Sector in Vietnam” is funded by the French Development Agency (AFD) and managed by Ministry of Industry and Trade. The Project Inception Meeting was held on 18 December, 2012 at MOIT’s office with participants from MOIT, Vietnam Steel Association, Vietnam Steel Corporation, etc. During the meeting, the consultig team of Thai consultants (COT, CEERD and ISIT) and local consultant, RCEE – NIRAS, has presented the methodologies, approaches and expected goals of the project towards a mutual agreements on opinions, goals and requirements of relevant stakeholders.
