The project:” Survey on energy consumption at agricultural pumping stations and Pilot Energy Effciency Project” is co-funded by Ministry of Industry and Trade and International Copper Association South East Asia.

During the Phase 1 of the project, the Consultant has carried out the survey on energy consumption among agricultural pumping stations throughout the country. As scheduled, Phase 2 of the projec will include the demonstration of high efficient pumping stations. Based on the result of Phase 1, RCEE has proposed the technical solution of replacing with high efficient motors at 03 selected pumping stations: Lien Mac (Hanoi), Lo Lon (Phu Tho) and Vinh Dien (Quang Nam. As calculated, the total energy saving of 16, 376kWh/ year is expected, equivalent to approximately 41 milllion VND/year.
