NIRAS Vietnam has just got a new contract for building up the Marginal Abatement Cost Curve (MACC) and developing the Provincial Green Growth Action Plan for 02 Provinces: Da Lat and Quang Ninh in the framework of “Strengthening mainstreaming the sustainable development and climate change into planning system” project funded by UNDP and coordinated by MPI.

The mission focuses on some main activities, including: i). Inventory and forecast of Greenhouse Gas Emissions, building up Emissions baseline of the basic scenario, ii). Building up the emissions abatement curve base on calculating the long-term marginal cost for each selected technology, (iii) Assist in completing the Green Growth Action Plan for Quang Ninh Province and Da Lat city.

 The mission aims to ensure mainstreaming Green Growth in the local socio-economic development plan 2016-2020.
