Can Tho 17/11/2015 German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ) has organized the kick-off workshop for development of the provincial green growth action plan (PGGAP) in 6 provinces in Mekong Delta. The project will be funded through Integrated Coastal Management Programme (https://www.giz.de/en/worldwide/18661.html) and Macroeconomic Reforms (https://www.giz.de/en/worldwide/18779.html)

During the workshops, the RCEE-NIRAS’s Consultant has introduced the methodologies, workplan for the project some experiences from development of PGGAP in other localities. Representatives from various departments of the 6 provinces have participated and contributed to the workshop. Representatives from Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI) and Central Institute for Economic Management (CIEM) also shared the national green growth strategy and updated activities.
