The Innovation Partnership Programme (IPP) is an ODA partnership between the governments of Finland and Vietnam. Beginning in 2009, the first phase of IPP was completed in August 2013. Working through an open innova-tion model, IPP has encouraged Vietnamese enterprises to engage with knowledge and experience from partners both in Finland and locally. We have brought together government agencies, research institutes and enterprises to create an enabling environment for innovation in Vietnam.

As we prepare to move into the second phase of the programme (2014-2018), through panel sessions and roundtables we will discuss in-depth the policy environment, challenges and strengths of both Vietnam and Finland. RCEE-NIRAS JSC was honored to chair the roundtable discussion of Innovation in Energy production - Biomass. The workshop wraped up yesterday, Oct 24th, 2013 at Hilton Hanoi Opera Hotel, Hanoi.
