In December 2014, Niras Vietnam has signed 02  Energy audit contracts with total value up to USD30,000 for 2 companies under Northeast Coal Corporation - Ministry of Defence. EMS unit will conduct the audit program at  the North - Eastern Coal Processing Transport and Trading Co., Ltd  and the 379 Company Limited with main tasks below:

1. Comprehensive Survey the supply system of power, heat, pneumatic devices and energy consumption in the Transport Company Limited Coal Processing & Northeast.

2. Energy audit.

Collect data and analysis the quality indicators of power suppy, assess the state of using electrical devices and current measurement methods. Building up the reasonable and efficient energy management system

Assess the state of the power consumption at all technological processes, assess the impact of the factors to the cost of electricity etc., Access the ability of saving fuel in coal, waste rock transporting processes.

Assess the ability of saving fuel in the fuel allocation processes for the transportation vehicles of companies. Assess the ability of saving fuel that takes in to account of impact conditions: natural, human (worker level). Access some factors: technological level, equipment state, production management related to the supply and consumption of energy etc.,

3. Installation of energy metering equipment for Electric equipment, fuel for transport vehicles at sites, workshop, production area, .... Monitoring to the measurement results in the neccessary periods.

4. Analysis of energy savings potential in the condition of company.

5. Propose  the practical solutions to reduce energy costs.

6. Calculation of economic efficiency by the application of energy-saving solutions for Company.

The contract starts from December 2014 and expected to finish by the end of March 2015.
