On 17 &18^th June, Niras Vietnam in collaboration with Dong Bac Coal Corporation – Ministry of National Defence to organize the consultation workshop to announce the Energy Audit’s result of two member units: 397 Company No. 39 ltd and Dong Bac Coal Processing & Transport Co., Ltd.

According to the Energy Audit’s results, Company No. 379 Ltd has potential of saving 3,42MWh (equivalent to 0.5% of total energy consumption) and 140.583 liters of DO diesel (equivalent to 3,5% of total DO diesel consumption, total saving is VND 2,784,100,000/ year, reducing CO2 emission by 362,19 tons/ year. While Dong Bac Coal Processing & transport Co., Ltd  has potential of saving 85,7MWh (equivalent to 4,81 of the total energy consumption), 82,841 liters of DO Diesel (equivalent to 4,0% liters of total DO diesel consumption), reducing CO2 emission by 361,7 tons / year.

The leader of Dong Bac Corporation emphasized “This is the transition period of Dong Bac Coal Corporation moving from TKV Corporation to Ministry of National Defense, we have to face with some difficulties in managing of production cost. Therefore these results have huge implications for Dong Bac Coal Corporation and member units.
