On March 30th, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment (DONRE), under the cooperation with C40 Climate Action Planning Southeast Asia Programme, has organized a consultation workshop to collect opinions and comments from relevant stakeholders regards with the 3rd draft action plan on climate change response for Hanoi city.

During the consultation, the consultant from RCEE-NIRAS & IPTE-MMD have introduced the 3rd draft action plan on climate change response for Hanoi city. Representatives from relevant local authorities and stakeholders have contributed with a focus on: The necessity to develop the 3rd Action Plan; Emission and Climate Change Scenarios for Hanoi City; Vision and goals of the 3rd Action Plan; Priority tasks and projects on climate change adaptation and greenhouse gas emission reduction; Mainstreaming climate actions into strategies, programs, development plans, and Roadmap for Implementation. Based on the consultation, the  3rd action plan will be further improved and finalized for submission to the People's Committee of Hanoi city in Quarter II / 2021.
