Tiếng Việt Completion of PoA CDM design documents for two programs in Vietnam
RCEE has completed the PoA-DD and CPA-DDs of the Programatic CDM for the Renewable Energy Development Program under the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT), and collaborated with ADB Technical Support Facility to prepare the PoA-DD and CPA-DDs of the Programatic CDM for Quality and Safety Enhancement of Agricultural Products and Biogas Development Project (QSEAP-BDP) under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD).
Program of Activities (PoA) is a new concept in CDM which allows time and cost cuttings, and very suitable for low- or non-profit initiatives toward rural development or energy efficiency. As of December 31th of 2009, 10 PoAs were developed and uploaded to UNFCCC's website for public commencing, 4 of which from Vietnam.
During April 2010, the validations of these two PoAs have been carried out, and the draft validation reports (DVR) shall be available in May (for REDP) and June (for QSEAP-BDP) respectively.
