Within the framework of the contract to develop the climate change handbook for the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN), RCEE- NIRAS team conducted the on-site survey at PVN’s units and Online survey of "Manager level " and "Employees" aims to summarize and assess the understanding of climate change, finding gaps in terms of knowledge and awareness of employees as well as the need to enhance awareness about climate change.

Based on the collected results, the consulting team has designed the CC content and successfully drafted the CC mitigation and adaptation Handbook in oil and gas sector. The content of the Handbook includes (i) Introduction of the concept of climate change, climate change reality in Vietnam (ii) The impact of climate change on the oil and gas construction and & workers (iii) Các biện pháp giảm thiểu với BĐKH trong lĩnh vực dầu khí ( iv). Mitigation and adaptation measures to climate change for employees.
