In the framework of the project funded by the Nordic Development Fund through the Asian Development Bank (ADB): “Support for the national target program on climate change with a Focus on Energy and Transport”, the consultant team ( a consortium of NIRAS Denmark, ICEM and RCEE – NIRAS) has organized several capacity building workshops on climate change in cooperation with minitries (MOIT, MOT) and local people committees (Thanh Hoa, Danang, HCMC). Training course on “GHG Database for Energy Sector” has been provided for MOIT in November 2012. A training course on “EFFECT Model in Transport sector” has been organized with MOT. Other capacity building workshops such as “Climate Change Management Planning” (in Danang) and “Public Awareness on Climate Change Training” ( in HCMC) have been held during November and December 2012.
