RCEE-NIRAS team has been selected to support the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) for the development of Climate Change Handbook. The Consultant will conduct (i) an assessment of PVN staffs’ awareness related to climate change mitigation & adaptation; (ii) Development of climate change mitigation and adaptation Handbook in oil and gas sector.

To collect information as inputs for implementing this assignment, the consultant team has conducted the on-site surveys at some selected facilities under PVN that represents the climate change impacts in oil and gas sector. Also, online surveys have been conducted for both PVN’s management level and staffs at facility level. The objectives of the survey are to:  Evaluate the awareness of PVN’s staffs related to climate change mitigation and adaptation in oil and gas sector; and to consult on CC Handbook’s content and format for next steps of Development of climate change mitigation and adaptation Handbook in oil and gas sector.
