NIRAS Vietnam in collaboration with Center of Energy and Green Growth Research (CEGR) is working on a project funded by KOIKA on Legal Framework of Vietnam Green Growth Strategy.

The consultant’s team will assess the current legal framework in four sectors: Energy, Industry, Environment and Planning & Investment to propose possible improvements related to Vietnam Green Growth Strategy.  Key findings will be presented for stakeholder consultation in  January 2015.

A roundtable on reviewing the legal framework in Energy sector was successfully organised in Danang on November 28th 2014 and the consultation workshop on reviewing and assessment the Legal & institutional framework in 4 sectors: Energy, environment, industry and Planning & investment is going to be held on January 8th 2015. 

The project is led by Korea Environmental Institute (KEI) and coordinated by Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI).
